I am the proud mom of one handsome 8 year old boy! Josh is the light of my world and he has taught me so much! Becoming a mom is also what inspired me to follow down the path of health and wellness and starting my own business for which I am so grateful. I also have two adorable black cats. Miss Meow and Ozzie.
Anything I set my mind to I do with passion, commitment, and a positive attitude. My services are always tailored to the client’s needs. The amount of detail and care I put into each session keeps my clients coming back time and time again. My personal mission is to inspire others to live a holistic healthy lifestyle and to follow their heart and passions when it comes to their career. Everyone deserves to look and feel their best, living joyously and prospering doing what they love most.
My name is Elizabeth Diebold, founder of Avalon 8 Wellness, LLC. Massage changed my life. Entering into massage school was the best decision I have ever made. I am a mom and at the time I made the decision to go back to school I was putting the pieces of my life back together. Many things had happened that caused me to reevaluate the direction I was heading in my career, but the one that stood out the most was my dad passing away at the age of 55. His heart just stopped. After the autopsy, they found some of his main arteries were 90% or more blocked. Inside, I could scream because a lot of what happened there I feel in my opinion was preventable.
I knew at that point that taking care of my health and learning the art of self care so I could lead by example and teach others was what I was born to do. Attending massage school at the Healing Arts Center and receiving massage on a regular basis was the most profound healing experience for me on my personal journey.
There are so many benefits to massage, but the one that stands out the most for me was learning how to put my health and wellbeing first. By committing to a regular self care routine and learning to relax, I was able to get quiet in my mind, body, and spirit. When you hear your own inner voice and listen to your intuition things will begin to shift and change exponentially for you over time. Small gentle changes lead to big lifestyle changes. Since attending massage school, I have committed to a wide range of self-care practices that I would have never dreamed of doing on such a regular basis. When I don’t feel good, I usually can figure out why right away and I address the issue with by focusing on what part of me needs a little more love and attention and in no time at all I am back to feeling great! My health is in my hands.
Committing yourself to a regular self-care routine that includes massage can be life changing and a worthy investment. This is such a forgotten thing in today’s fast paced world. If you don’t slow down and learn how to take time out for your health and well-being, you just might be on the fast track to health issues. I founded Avalon 8 Wellness to offer massage and complimentary services to help others embrace their health and a regular self-care practice. Preventative Wellness is where its at!
